Yays! I was starting to wonder if this story was dying. I need to know how it all ends!!! Hopefully RD will fix this mess. Sucks that Twi broke what ever it was. If it has an apple on it, then it has to be expensive. I love the loads of lol's you stuffed in this chapter too! Well, back to waiting for the next one!

Have a happy non-denominational winter holiday season! :yay:

3630522
Thank you and the same to you.:raritystarry:

Fluttershy's got a crush...

Don't need to read the bio, that pic does the job for me

Ooooh now it's getting good!!!

Welcome back to the land of the living. How was your time away?

Not to mention that with the human awake and cognizant, it would be highly unethical to use it on him without his permission.

It was EXTREMELY unethical to use it on him in the first place when he was unconscious and unable to give consent. Just because you happen to be able to move the sun does not mean you can ignore basic magical ethics.

Will this update sooner

JBL

3631156 Nope, check back around July/Aug 2014 :trollestia:

3630549
Mayyyyyyybe.

3630715
The pic is amazing. You should follow the link and tell the creator of this fantastic drawing. I know I have.

3630837
Hope so.

3630970
Boring, but now I know the properties of the human liver.

3630991
The most awesome animal in nature.

3630995
Or is it.:trollestia:

3631156>>3631173
Yes well you see...HEY I'm slow, but not that slow.:flutterrage:

3631462
Well if you check the comment section in the early pages it started as a attempt to make a more plot-based version of another Flutter/human story. This started because I never thought that I would ever write a story that people would actually read. After talking with people around the site I decided to make it more friendly, just getting out of the protagonist depression face, that I got myself into when the over the top Evil Madam Fluttershy went out of the window.:twilightblush:

spike just had a taste of metal :D

on a side note: whens the next chapter coming out? :trollestia:

3631585
In 2014.:trollestia:

3631632
Maybe or maybe she just know Fluttershy when she goes into defending the defenceless mode.:trollestia:

Now comes the question, should I read this or not?

IF the updates are more frequent than so far, then yes, but otherwise I'm really doubting...

3631512

No theres no grey area here you fat flanked bitch. Its WRONG, flat out WRONG to use mind scanning magic on someone without their consent. Then again it doesn't seem like ponies particularly care for ethics, since twilight just totally stole the guys cellphone too.

3631832

Really? The cellphone is what hurts you the most?:ajbemused:
How about putting a collar on him? (which is probably a magical shock-collar):trixieshiftright:

3632042

To be fair, I completely forgot about the slave collar when I was writing that. But disrespect for someone's property is not cool either.

3632163

That is most definitely true:ajsmug:

Not a fan of the deviations away from the story with the long side-bit about the honey badger... pretty pointless imo...
Hoping the story picks up some speed soon.. :/

It's kinda funny, if only Twilight knew what a collar really meant in human culture. That has to be, by far, one of the most demeaning, hateful, humiliating things you can do to a person. You might as well be calling them your slave. I'd die before I wore a collar- hoping Twilight comes around.

3632686 Yep,Funny how we see things like those as a Fate worse than Death

3632938
Yeah, it is, isn't it?

I like this story and all that, but the infrequent updates are beginning to irritate me. I'm hoping this updates faster next time.

3631670

In 2014. :trollestia:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

THE HONEY BADGER!?!? RUN FOR YOUR LIVES~, IT DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK!!!!!!!

By the sound of how Rainbow described the posture i t makes you think it as some way of Pegasus culture for protecting their loved ones

I'm LOVING this story :yay: :pinkiehappy: Also, on a side note, the flaring of an animal's wingspan is used for intimidation--the bigger you are, the stronger you are. This is also a way of warning a predator, or a potential one, to back off because they will be attacked. Such gestures occur to many different species some birds do, some reptiles do as well (a great example being the king cobra with its hood). :rainbowwild: Hooray for nature and protective instincts! :yay: :pinkiecrazy:

Nope. Done. For a story that isn't supposed to be a comedy this chapter was just so random it pretty much killed whatever mood this story had for me. Shame. It seemed like it was going to be an interesting one.

~Have a good one.

I am really glad to see this is not dead!:pinkiehappy:

Although the Honey Badger was quite entertaining, I don't think that it really added much to the story. It seemed like the kind of thing that would be a separate fic in itself, with a link in the text so as to not interrupt the flow of the story at hand..... or in this case at hoof. Other than that, I have no gripes about this chapter and will be excitedly awaiting the next.

This chapter was a bit too random for my taste, I got lost halfway through. Nothing really happened.

Though, I can't really hate on this chapter since it's just a filler and all. I await for the next chap'.

I just hope it doesn't take 7 months again...

3635761 Though,Given what little we could glean about how culturally tolerant ponies are (IE,Not very),And how little they seem to value free will (Or atleast,Celestia seems to show this) They might not actually understand the concept of "Give me freedom,Or give me death"

Has he gotten out his hidden space wand and is holding Fluttershy hostage?!

Space wand ay?
neatgeek.com.au/product_images/sonic_screwdriver.jpg

3635828 You DO realise at best the thing might work as a Magic EMP,Maybe give headaches right?

3635891 Yes but they don't know that.

3635894 Doesnt change the fact that its more suited for setting up some bloody Cupboards than combat

3635768 True. At best that statement could be seen as horrible to a pony's eyes. Mainly due to the upbringing of ponies in the non-hostile and safe environment.

3635896 Oiyy... Don't diss the Sonic.

3635896 Actually, the Sonic Screwdriver, despite it's name, could tear them apart at the molecular level, if you get it resonating right, or boil them alive, from the inside out, by using ultrasonic frequencies to excite the water in them. And a good number of other nasty ways to die.

3633314
Yesssssssssssssss!

3632650>>3635248>>3635389
Yeah, might have to agree with you there. This was made as a test chapter because I felt I had a hard time getting the ponies point of view across, when we only saw the chapter from the protagonist's point of view. Seeing that he has been out of the loop for most part it gave quite a few :twilightangry2::flutterrage::trixieshiftleft: from readers. But now it has been tried and some events that will come into play later in the story has been established. Just need to get over my low self-esteem and keep it in second person and take what ever is thrown at me.

3633175
I'll try.

3634691
Sad to hear it. Hope you'll find a story more to your liking out there.

3636103
Must agree, being a former scout I know the taste. It was more set to tasting something that you thought you knew the taste of, only to find that the taste is different. Me buying a confine drink thinking that it was like Red Bull only to find that it was mocca. I like mocca, but the surprise of tasting it when I expected something else, made me spit it out like it was vinigar. Are you from the Netherlands?

3632908>>3632686>>3635761
Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.

Sigmund Freud

Seeing who we elect to power here on earth and the liberties we give them to fuck up our freedoms I have to agree with Siggy.

3635828
Seeing that there are no pistols in Equestria I used an old D&D senario where the players met aliens. Laser weapons where seen as wands since they did the same. Point it at the enemy and boom.

btw Thank you for pointing out the spelling mistakes that managed to hide from me.:raritywink:

3637844
I'm pretty sure people, including me, want freedom. I'm not anyone's collared pet. And I didn't vote for any of those people, so it doesn't count for me :P

Your low blood count meant that your body couldn’t generate enough body heat without a blanket to trap it.

Physiology 101: Erythrocytes do not possess mitochondria, meaning they do not metabolize glucose, meaning they are not responsible for your bodily heat.
:facehoof:

Dear author, I know that I shouldn't impose too much on you, since nobody is obligated to know human physiology. Still, it would be wise for you not to try to explain things without prior knowledge, unless you want your text riddled with half-assed explanations that simply are not truth. Focus on what you know and stop trying to explain things which you clearly don't have a clear knowledge of.

went on to present Fluttershy with a raised middle claw.

You don't mess with Honey Badgers, they will end you.

it would be highly unethical to use it on him without his permission.

And it isn't to do it on him anyways?
Seriously, what the FUCK. Whenever I see Celestia act like this, it makes me want to pull my hair out. She may have the best intentions (protecting a country of all things), but I doubt the benevolent princess would even think(!) of doing that to something that Flutters stated could at the least sing in an understandable language!

Then there's the whole 'magic collar of obedience' deal. Celestia would, for fucking sure, see just how WRONG that is when he can't even use magic and is facing a couple months of recovery time due to muscle atrophy. Saying he wouldn't hurt a fly? It's because is physically incapable of it without some serious drugs.
You've made both Celly and Twilight carry the Idiot Plot (More than one character carrying the Idiot Ball) and that almost hurts, considering just how OOC that is. I mean, after all those friendship report that Twilight would allow slavery?

JBL

3640108 Believe me, I know the feeling of liking the story a writer weaves, but despise the subject matter. Gods, I could hardly get it out of my head for days. :pinkiesad2: Yep, it can be very stressful.

She knew life and what it could throw at you, and she knew to sometimes let the waves that were life hit you and roll over you. The only bad thing to come out of it, no matter how big the wave looked when it hit, was a wet mane.

Tell that to Japan.

3638446
The discribtion of freezing I got from My own experience when I learn that just because your buddy says that his not to drunk to drive that doesn't mean that his right. During and after my stay at the hospital where I lost close to half of my blood I constantly froze, and needed two blankets where one is usually to much.

Probably wasn't my missing blood that did it, but that's what the doctors told me, could be that they were fibbing because they didn't belive I needed to know since I would be fine.

3640108
If you fear that the protagonist and storyline will devolve to evil pony land, give the next chapter (5) a chance, if it still isn't your cup of tea will take it from there. Sorry for naking you sick.:fluttershysad:

3639499
No not having Eyebrows doesn't make you blind. One of the all time best Football referees Colina didn't have any eyebrows.

It all goes down to bad comunication, between the characthers, and between me the writer and the reader. As well as the fact that this story has changed deretion form the first chapter, But since I don't what to rewrite it I'm working with what I already got.

Thank you, guess childhood experiences hang on longer than you think.

3645607 It's exactly what did it. Even though your blood doesn't create heat, it is responsible for maintaining it. If you lose too much blood, you also lose heat; and more, you lose the ability to help distribute this heat to various organs (especially the skin, which lead you to feel like you're freezing when your insides are actually at a comfortable 36ºC).

Blood: Doesn't create heat. Helps maintaining and distributing it.

PS: It is your right, as a patient, to know exactly what you want to know. The doctors are forced by law to answer your every question about your condition.
