Just finished reading this and I realized, the confusion adds to the hilarity. There are very few stories that manage to both explain everything and still leave you so confused you're rolling on the floor laughing your throat out. That was supposed to be a compliment, it came out sort of wrong but I honestly don't know how else to describe it.

Truly terrible story. Or I should rather say - story of 2 deal breaking problems.

The first problem is thus - you are bringing characters and concepts out of nowhere. Some exposition would be nice. Maybe a paragraph of explanations of whys a hows. But OK, it is crossover - I have never played dead space so maybe I should play it and maybe something will become clearer (but I have never played Fallout before reading Fallout Equestria and I never felt lost reading that).

The second problems is much worse. Your characters are bland and thoroughly uninterestingly unengaging. There is no arc to them! Isaac goes from nowhere to nowhere. The CMC on the other hand goes from innocent fillies to necromoph killing badasses in 10 picoseconds flat! How? Why? Impossible! That is chance for interesting development not just left laying down, but cutted to .1 micrometer cubes and then incinerated. And Scootaloo dying only to be revealed 10 words later that she is not actually dead is ridiculous. And her "resurrection" is actually what totally broke the story. Past that I was bored and just blasted through.

<tl;dr> Bad story is bad. Characters goes from nowhere to nowhere or from innocent to killing machines in an instant and they are flat as boards. Concepts and character are made from thin air without any explanation (where did that male alicorn come from? and how?). Broken storytelling is broken.
