Undome Tinwe

Some of them want to use you, some of them want to be used by you/Some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused.

I think this also legally counts as hatemail towards Stanley Kubrick for making a movie that I haven't even watched.

This is quite excellent.
Thank you.
Though it read less Nabokov and more tailsopony.

god i love your obsession with these two. cozy glow's total burnout while everyone is celebrating constantly in the background + flurry heart's poisoned chalice of an inheritance she can only be taught about by those who had to earn it = Great & Fun.

"I needed to know," Flurry explains— pleads— begs. "If someone like you could be fulfilled again, by having someone to lead into darkness, to corrupt into someone even more like you, if that made the emptiness go away, then maybe... maybe I could feel full too, by taking what you once took and holding onto it."

i love that flurry heart outmaneuvers cozy every time and it's always fun to see how. it's a mirror of the earlier "And Cozy fills her up in hopes that she will spill over into herself," two empty vessels desperately catering to the perceived desires of the other, leaving both only emptier. some toxic codependence type gift of the magi shit. chefs kiss mwah

also i like the bittersweet ending... or, sweetbitter really, because it has the shape of a happy ending but isn't one (yet?) i love cozy's rejection of everyone else's happily ever after that requires her own exclusion, and luna's rejection in turn of that narrative, because she herself is always left out of them. i would love to see more of the kind of distant mentorship between luna and cozy that's hinted at here, if you're ever interested in writing it.

poor luster dawn also. always the third wheel dealing with the baggage of the other two but i guess that's basically what she's been taught to do

great work!

Love this story. Need more CozyHeart stories.

Did NOT see that coming. Hopefully one day Flurry forgives Cozy or Cozy does something to earn it.

This was a really fun read and the plot twist was very well done.

Who is Vladimir Nabokov and how is this story a love letter to him?
