The author of my favourite non-pony novel just published a sequel to said novel, so I thought I'd shill them both.
Everfree Northwest 2021 had approximately 1/6th the attendance of Bronycon 2019.
Thank goodness.
I actually felt like I could breathe at this con (albeit through a mask). I had enough time to spend with people, and by the last day, while I was sad to say goodbye, I felt content with what I had achieved in these 4 magical days. I definitely prefer this low-key atmosphere to the frenetic energy of the Last Bronycon.

So last month I participated in a very interesting contest for the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting server. It was called the Expanding Universes contest, and each entrant would submit one of their old stories to the contest, which would then be assigned to to another entrant. That entrant would then have to write an expansion (usually a sequel) to the story they were assigned.
For anyone who's been tracking it and waiting for it to finish, the last chapter has just been posted. Thanks to everyone who read the fic, and I hope you enjoyed this fic as much as I enjoyed writing it!
