So, I assume Opaline just took off her horn and dyed her coat. But with that said, if the measurements I'm looking at are correct, I don´t think Opaline isn't much taller than Hitch, not enough to say she tower over him.

I'm not 100% sure what cannon is, but I like tall mares so I'm biased towards making them bigger.
Ok very interesting so far so sunny invited hitch to the party and hitch felt like he doesn't want to go but Sunny insisted since Misty and zipp ask about him but he didn't want to make it feel awkward especially with those two but Sunny's wants to reassure have nothing's going to happen they're just going to have fun hopefully he doesn't feel so awkward
Okay so it looks like somehow the tree let out Opaline out for some odd reason and it looks like she was also wants to plan to attack them but unfortunately her magic is have gone ever since that event so instead she's going to go inside in disguise and gaining their trust then basically stealing the crystal I just hope the others will figure this thing out

Hmm it looks like Opaline still feeling the tiredness after being free from the tree and it took a lot of energy and she basically fainted then hitch out of his goodness of his heart and doesn't even know who she is helped her and of course she will take advantage of the situation especially hitch kindness offer I wonder how this will work out I guess we'll find out next time
