Technically it is a changeling. Most of it's DNA is changeling and some of it comes from ponies (specifically magic users or pegusai). But also I didn't do pureblood changeling because I felt it would be less unique from a character standpoint.

Ok yeah, I can definitely see what you’re talking about. I kinda struggled to find a good motive for trusting the Main 6, and I wanted it to happen in this chapter. For quality’s sake I may made edits for a better motive before the next chapter, but I have no idea when I’d be done with that (mostly cuz of school and thanksgiving).

I can see where you're coming from, and at the end of the day it's your story. If you remember when PK had 'Shy under his "control" he could've used the time to divulge secrets as to how the Mane6 are as a group, it's what I've would do in his place... I would then orchestrate the situation to be in such a way that they'd have to show so real... "dedication" to friendship... or the like... possibly learn more about why they hate his mother and about Tirek and Cozy... still though, you've got a good thing going here so don't let me dissuade you from writing.

I’m using Infinite’s abilities as sort of a base for what I want Arachnis to have. I want to expand on those abilities since I feel like there isn’t much done with them in Forces (and I guess Mania)
I'm not sure about this to be honest... but... Isn't a Lexicon vocabulary for a language and it's use in communication or branches of knowledge?

I always thought of the word lexicon as something like the word encyclopedia, where it has documented information. Because I interpret “branches of knowledge” as general information, I used it in this story’s context as something like a book of spells or explaining how spells work. Then again, I also don’t really know I just interpreted the definition as something that would fit the context.

It's synonym is dictionary because it closely resembles its function.
I'm fairly certain It's a tool for understanding said branches of knowledge, or more specifically... the terminology used in that branch of knowledge including its phrases and jargon. You can't understand the knowledge if you don't understand the words. It's a tool for understanding the other tools for understanding.
It's a foundation built upon the groundwork that is the laguage itself that said knowledge sits upon.

I saw that this was posted two whole weeks ago and I was just like “well damn. I’ve been gone for a while haven’t I?”. Needless to say I have but I’m back I’m business and chapter progress is gonna be up and running again. And to answer the question yes, longer wait times usually I mean I wanna revise things or make them better overall.
Also I’m glad ur excited for the next one! Hopefully the payoff is worth it!
