Sorry to disappoint but the story was a brief experiment into another field I normally do not do for the most part. And it was quickly thrown together.
Interesting. I would subsitute the whole servitude attitude to something like meatbags or ants. And I would also add something like "we feed on your life energy(in form of pain, sex or both )" attitude to argue why they haven't wiped out humanity, yet.
I guess one might argue the reasoning behind such brutal and out of character storytelling. I think it is the need to reflect on reality through fiction. Situations people are not ready to face are told in fiction and harden the hearts of their readers.

It's also kind of implied that the ponies are not normally like this. (something made them evil) I wanted to leave it as a mystery as to why the ponies suddenly became evil. It does make a reference to the Conversion Bureau stories, with the threats she made against his race.
