I mean you can incorporate my ideas into your story. Like Rarity felt bad about betraying her friends even though she was blackmailed and being the element of generosity she is. She try to help close the door while she inside the realm of darkness to make it up to her friends even though she will be trap in the realm of darkness with Riku. And the fact that she can't face her friends right at that moment. And when you get to chain of memories she be in castle oblivion basement with Riku and when she gets to the top of the castle she see her friends sleeping in their pods. Then she goes with Riku to help him gets Sora's memories back. And then when you get to KH2 she doesn't rejoin her friends until they get to the World that never was.

And haveing Rarity getting a keyblade can be a sign of her redemption like how Riku's way to dawn keyblade is a sign of his redemption. Rarity's keyblade can be a mix of her colors and the colors of Nightmare Rarity. I just don't know what the name of it will be.

I think I know how you can do birth by sleep story. You can have Mickey tell them about the event of birth by sleep which takes place before he met sora and the ponies there were 3 keyblade welders he met that end with them in in troubling situations. And is Xemnes going to show up in this story, and will Terra/Lingering Will show up in kingdom hearts 2?

Well your probably gonna have to do dream drop distance because that game sets up the events of kh3. And ddd also sets up many things. It reveals Xehanort's return, the gathering of seekers of darkness, sets up the return of Ventus, Aqua, Terra the gathering of the guardians of light, Sora, Riku, maybe RedSoarDash, Twilight, and if Rarity does get a keyblade maybe her to take the keyblade mastery exam to get the power of awakening hearts, and foreshadowing the return of the real x-blade and not The copy Xehanort made back in birth by sleep.
