Wait a minute. This was all planned out, wasn’t it?

There’s something with these stories, they’re connected in a way.

You had my attention, but now you have my curiosity.

I'm glad I didn't jump the gun on theorizing

Really enjoying reading these. They feel, honestly, like dreams I've had. Rainbow's anxieties somehow feel very real, despite not knowing what happened to make this world so empty, and it's all done with scenery and environmental storytelling.

Again, as a writer of similar things, I recognize your use of liminal spaces... Both physical and mental. It seems like a lot has changed and, while Rainbow's friends have recovered, Rainbow herself seems to be stuck in that transitional place of unreality. She isn't sure who she is, who she was, or who she will be.

Very excited for your next installment!

I thought Rarity’s character was done very well, and, as for past theories...haha I think it’s time to rethink them:rainbowlaugh: now, I’m not sure if any of them died, but rather, something like what Mushroompone said happened I’m lovin’ this series!! Keep up the amazing work!:pinkiehappy::heart:

The freeway cut through the city like a river of concrete

Starting off with a bang, huh?

Ooh, were getting new sentences in the descriptions along with the new chapters! Interesting!

I like how at peace Rarity is with everything. She's typically the one of the mane six mostly likely to panic and melt down when things don't go her way (perhaps tied with Twilight), and yet her simple thought of "the more things change, the more things stay the same" and even her quiet acceptance of her eventual death/disappearance/??? is kind of comforting.

I'm not sure it's having that effect on Rainbow, though hahaha

My gosh, it was so gratifying when I found out the password.

That aside, this technological stuff seems to be a new development in this past Dashie’s in. Also, Rarity’s response,”The more we change, the more we stay the same,” is verbatim something Fiddlesticks themselves have said to a comment.

Also, there’s the matter of,”I dreamt about Spitfire last night, I woke up thinking about her, and everyone else.” It’s quite clear that Spitfire is older than Rainbow by a fair deal. It only makes sense that she’d go first. Rainbow Dash seems to have lost some ponies in her life, and I believe that this is taking place when the two are a bit older.

It kind of reminds me of the Pixie and Brutus comic, when Pixie asks about Costello and if he was a nice man, Brutus responds with,”He was.” Just like that simple tense change, Rainbow affirming that,’and everyone else’ implies so much more than it should. Who else has passed on when she’s talking to Rarity in this flashback?

I agree with you there - I didn’t get in until now, and I feel quite rewarded:pinkiehappy:
True, they’re young mares when the show begins, and they know a lot of ponies, some they’ve obviously said goodbye too already. I feel like we’re still missing something (but what else is new?:rainbowlaugh:) though. I’m still wondering if this is the real world, or another version of the dream-like world she was in before.🤔
