I feel that even though lots of people in the MLP fandom support this ship, but I feel that it's so lacking content. I mean, isn't that crazy? It's so perfect! My best example when I try to explain this ship to people is in the episode "Triple Threat," when Ember keeps confusing Starlight for Twilight, and when Ember says that they are so much alike in not just their looks but also their behavior, they get outraged at her at the same time in the same way. Twilight and Starlight are kind of in sync, and that's why they would go so well with each other. This book of short stories will hopefully flesh out this ship for you. I'll be updating one story at a time. The stories will be connected, but they won't fall one after the other as a single story would. They'd jump forward a bit and each have their own conflict.

The parallels between Twilight and Starlight may truly mean that they complement each other. However, there are fundamental difference in their upbringing and even, to a lesser extent, their personalities. Relationships are never completely smooth sailing, and I wonder how the two ride out storms of distress or conflict. I’m surprised that Twilight took the first step, especially since Starlight is more gutsy in nature, and I will like to see how this turns out in their relationship together.

I wished that there were more depictions of the love language in the synergy of the two characters at the confession part. But, this is an interesting chapter nonetheless.

Thanks for your input! To be honest, the next bit will likely take place right after this, because Starlight hasn't said yes yet! And I'm not sure if you caught it, but Twilight went to Fluttershy and Rainbow before Starlight for the same thing, and likely Starlight would have taken the first step, except Rainbow and Fluttershy made sure Starlight got there second because they planned it with Twilight first.

This is my first time reading about a different Twilight ship, and I must say, I am quite pleased, really. It's not a ship that I ever really gave much thought to, but I'm willing to read more about it. So far, it seems interesting, to say the least.

No pressure, but I need more. :twilightsheepish:

Thanks! This is one of my favorite Twilight ships because usually she's shipped with Pinkie, which I don't think would work; Sunset, who lives in another dimension with another Twilight who's better suited for her; Luna, who is a thousand years older than Twilight; or, my personal pet peeve, Flash, who only speaks to her in her dimension a few times, barely shows up and is in debate about whether he's even canon. But Starlight kinda would work. I just don't know why people ship Twi with the unreformed Starlight because they barely knew each other then. Now, they're really close. They even live together!

Upvoted for the ship

An good start I will be interested where you go from here I hope you will be able to update again soon

I agree with this ship. 4 hooves up.

That was a very nice chapter keep up the good work I can't wait for the next cahpter

Could'ya please carry on with this?

Underhanded tactics are afoot here I can see that things are going to go off with a bang at the sleepover. keep up the good work I can't wait for the next chapter.

I have a feeling this is going into pony rights violation territory and I don't like it one bit

Oh, yeah. Celestia and Cadence do that a lot in the show, too.

NO! Bad Celestia, Luna, and Cadance!

Please say this will update soon I can't wait!

*channels Mr. Moseby from the two Suite Life series*

NO!!!!! Don’t you dare do it your majesty! You had better not mess with your SISTER-IN-LAW’S love life! You write back to your aunt and tell her you won’t betray Twilight like that or I will ensure you are stripped of your crown, titles, and status!!!!

*goes back to normal after laughing like an idiot*

This is a fantastic TwiGlimmer story and I cannot wait time see more. Please update as soon as possible.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a princess to keep an eye on. 😂😂😂

PS: I had Mr. Moseby on the brain so that’s why I channeled him when writing this comment. I really do like this series and TwiGlimmer has such a little presence on this site that any story is welcome.

So from here there are two options:
A: The spell never has any effect for the rest of the story, which begs the question why was this chapter even necessary.
B: The spell does take effect, and we dive deep into morally grey area which I'm absolutely not on board with, and apparently half the characters here are, for some reason.
Sorry for coming out harsh, but I don't see this taking an enjoyable path.

Yeah, well, it probably won't. To be honest, I don't even know. I was thinking Luna would get desperate once she got to the sleepover. (And I know it's kinda weird that they're inviting a two-thousand-year old to a sleepover filled with 20 year olds, but it's happening for the sake of the story.

And you have just lost me. It shouldn't even be something Cadance even thinks about before she decides that she won't have any part of this.

Luna is going to full Nightmare Moon again me thinks when she finds out what's going on. And honestly, Luna has nopony to blame but herself for not telling Twilight sooner how she feels about her.

She should still be allowed to the sleepover. It just wouldn't be right to leave her out. Luna shouldn't have to suffer for Celestia and Cadance's broken ideals.
