Honestly I really liked this chapter. And YES having Spike as the co-star in it did help but that isn't all it was. I LOVED the banter between him and Rarity. It took something I felt from the story so far, Rarity feeling honestly unapproachable in her dom role to really relate to, and turned it on its head with so far the ONLY character that not only can take it but has just as much charm and wit to throw it right back at her. They have great chemistry in this scene that is so very unique to just the two of them. We also got to see that Spike isn't just a sub or into guys. He has his own taste, which allows him to enjoy Futa females as much as he does normal females but he still has his own desires beyond being a bottom to them. And I also LOVED seeing hints of a more dominating Dragon side to him. That there is more and that he IS growing. He is developing and maturing in this story, it is a mix it seem of him having both feminine and masculine traits but growing none the less. I wonder if this is a one off story or will this have effects on the main story overall. I know I know but as a major Spike fan I would LOVE to see more of him exploring and interacting with the girl and showing a deeper bond than the one we got to see from the canon.

This was great to be sure. I loved seeing Spike and Rarity together in this. I will admit I did kinda skim past the first part as that wasn't really for me. But when we got to Spike finally claiming Rarity it got interesting for me lol. It was funny to see him put down or at least be limited from his interaction with her beforehand hinder him a bit during their second act. But he still pulled it off so that is some points for sure. Once again I did enjoy seeing Spike show more of his dominating Dragon side to Rarity and her enjoying it. And felt it was in her character very much so to not give in without a fight. But I think that her seeing this side of him she would encourage it and even nurture that aspect of him. Spike got to see and experience a side of himself he never has up till this point, this could bring in more questions to him and make other things about him stand out. This also did a great job of showing Spike has TWO major loves in his life. Rarity AND Twilight. Both of them are the things that really get to him. I think honestly that might be the influence from Molestia. I mean if you think of it, she is a combination of the two of them perfectly. They say a boy fall in love with a woman just like his mother.... Well Spike did just that. Fell in love with the two mares closest to his mother figure.

Very much appreciated. Always nice to hear from you. As for... I suppose we'll say canonization, that's hard to say. This would have to take place many years in the future, both in universe and most likely IRL. No way to see that far ahead.
