Hi, I'm new to this, and figured I'd write fanfictions so hopefully someone will enjoy what I come up with.
This story is a sequel to Dream of Another Shore
Hearth's Warming Eve is coming, and Scootaloo, like all ponies, is looking forward to it. On returning home to the orphanage, she discovers the decorations arent exactly what she imagined. Spurred on by the surpressed sadness in the other ponies eyes, she decides that she has to do something about it...
This is a special three-part short for Christmas and shares nothing in common with my other underway fic, Ruining Harmony.

It sounds like Rarity might have figured it out.
It's a good story but one minor quibble. I kinda wish Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon got in trouble for what they did.
It was a nice story, but I am wondering what happened to rainbow dash and fluttershy? surely they would of helped out with scootaloo's party and been there.
awsome story man , but im thinking i know why snowdrops is looking out for scoots...its either cause shes her big sister..her mother asked her took look out for her, or snowdrops just felt that since shes the only other female of the orphans she had to look ut for her..it would be awsome though to know that she was her sister.

Honestly, the original plan for this was already long enough to where it ended. The reason Dash and Fluttershy werent included was so it didnt become drawn out.

Thank you for the comment. It was something I did for christmas, but as for Snowdrops, I felt the reason she'd look out for Scoots simply was because they were the only young females at the orphanage, so Snowdrops sees herself as a sister to Scoots. But for the simplicity of the story, Snowdrops and Scootaloo aren't related in any way other than they both live at an orphanage. Also, if you enjoyed this story, maybe you'd enjoy reading my other fic (it has a dark tag, but dark themes dont come up that much).

Replying to you again simply to state that the sequel in progress for this fic, Dream of Another Shore, will explore two of the relationships Scootaloo has with characters featured in this story. Though I cant say when Dream of Another Shore will begin, its down to how much time my editor gets.
This chapter has me smiling so much my mouth hurts. I love how Scootaloo is determined to get the funds to buy new ornaments through odd jobs. I also love how much the other residents at the orphanage and Ms. Jasmine are trying to make things special for her and she appreciates it. Diamond Tiara would turn up her nose at the ornaments, but Scootaloo is deeply moved.
I love Applejack, Rarity, Twilight, and Pinkie coming to the orphanage and making it a wonderful Hearths Warming Eve. THE FEELS!!!!
