This story is a sequel to Hearth's Warming Eve for Scootaloo
Scootaloo’s life has improved a lot since last Hearth’s Warming Eve, now that an orphanage is building. But soon a couple arrives with their intentions set to change her life forever, and, along with a new truth about her parents, she will find out what some ponies mean in her life.
Takes place Seventeen months after Hearth’s Warming Eve for Scootaloo. Reading the other story is recommended but not required.
Note; Alternate Universe tag included due to the fact S4 shows Scootaloo has a room somewhere, but still no answer if she is an orphan or not, so tag included simply as a precaution. Other tag does not indicate humans, just show characters that feature can't be selected at all.

I sense some history between Scootaloo, Jet Set, and Upper Crust. This could get very ugly. But I an also picture Scootaloo busting through a window screaming, "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!" at some point while Ms. Amethyst stares in shock.
Wow never saw that before I really don't know what to say jet set and upper crust huh I hope this turns out good can't wait to see more keep up the good work!
I think Showstopper is going to recruit Rainbow Dash to the search for Scootaloo. But if Jet Set and Upper Crust get so rude when things don't go like they expect... well I can't see them being good parents for Scootaloo.
I honestly want to see what happens next with Scoots. At least Jet Set and Upper Crust weren't after a new business. I do have to wonder about what Upper Crust put in the safe behind the Wonderbolts painting since it seems to be meant for Scootaloo.
I wouldn't mind seeing this continue
Nice to see a story where the rich ponies aren't stuck up / evil. Just needs to get a few mistakes corrected.
I would also enjoy another story
