Looking Towards the Future

The next day, Twilight and her friends gather in her castle.

"Everything okay, darling?" Rarity wondered.

"Don't worry, Rarity." Twilight Sparkle answered. "Our new friend is back at her farmland home. Princess Celestia personally saw to that."

"Too bad." Rainbow Dash said sadly. "I was getting so used to Megan being here."

"I'm with Rainbow." Fluttershy added. "She was so nice."

Twilight assured that everything is fine. "Don't worry. I'm sure we'll see Megan again. At least she knows that the Rainbow Bridge is back."

Meanwhile, back at Megan's house, she tells her siblings about her adventure.

"Equestria?!" Megan's brother, Danny, yelped. "Hard to believe that everything including the name has changed."

"I'm with you." Megan's sister, Molly, replied. "We sure missed a lot."

"I was shocked too." Megan said. "But, thanks to Twilight Sparkle and her friends, I've learned to adjust with the changes."

Danny was a little concerned. "Do you think we'll really be friends with these new ponies you talked about?"

"I'm sure, Danny. And, there maybe more ponies and creatures even I haven't met yet."

"I think Megan is right." Molly said happily. "If she can get used to Equestria, so can we."

"You're right, Molly." Danny replied. "This might be a new start for us."

Megan then made a proud statement. "Our adventures in the pony world have been given a big reboot!"

The three kids hugged each other as their mother watches. Time to measure Megan for a new version of her well known pink and blue outfit.

I figured to write about what would happen if Megan first came to Equestria. After the bridge was closed for 2,000 years in the pony world. That's two years in her time.

Nice read, i haven't watched g1 in forever lol seemed to go a bit fast for me,(would of liked more lol) but i liked it all the same, so thank you for the story

there was one bit, i was going to ask about but you answered it in the story lol I was thinking you were gonna have Celestia or Luna be a pony from g1 but they changed there name sort of thing, or have Celestia and Luna's mom be from g1(but has passed since megans time there

First of all I know I'm late to this, but I liked your story regardless. One thing I don't get is where would the Rainbow Bridge be located if it were to still exist in present day Equestria. The same would be with other sites especially if I was to use it for one of my upcoming fanfics, so I won't have guess at random or even be grilled for that. On a side note, with Twilight's expertise, she can probably create a special portal so that no pegasus or even alicorn in that matter will have to bring them in nor need to wait for a certain time for the bridge to reopen sort of like how she tweaked the portal for the Equestria Girls universe in Rainbow Rocks to work at anytime on whether she wanted to go back there or even have Sunset Shimmer come to her whenever she wanted. Of course that's just a thought by me. Also, reading the author's does remind me of Digimon of how the kids that became the Digidestined or Digimon Tamers travel to the Digital World and return home with hardly any time passing in between, and I'm not just saying this because I happen to be a Digimon fan.
