Hm, this is definitely something interesting, but if I could throw in a bit of friendly criticism, I feel there's way too much going on in the prelude. Rather than ease me into the story it kinda felt like you threw me headfirst into the deep end with no time to adjust. I'm all for lore, believe me, but it might've been more ideal if you were to spread it out a bit rather than toss it all at the reader right in the beginning. Just my opinion on the matter. Overall I'm interested enough to keep reading though.

I'm going to be working on this story some point over the next undetermined but definitely rather long amount of time. Both to fix some of the issues that both I and others have noticed with it but also to make it lead more smoothly into the sequel I'm working on because I need to do something during quarantine.
