It's been years since Scootaloo was a filly, searching for meaning with her friends while Twilight and her friends saved Equestria again and again. The Crusaders have grown up, and settled into adult life. The Mane Six have all found their own way to take a step back, pass on the torch, and relax doing what they love.

Except Rainbow Dash. She never stopped, never slowed down. Until recently, Scootaloo never gave it a moment's thought. But a long talk with the Wonderbolt's trainer forces her to admit what she's known for some time.

Rainbow Dash is slipping. Now to get her to admit it...

This is a amazing story you got here, and it one my subjects I like reading about.

And just the first chapter it setting up a real rollcoaster ride of emotions, I can't wair to see what your next chapter is.

Can't wait for the next chapter. Looking forward to where this goes.

But a long talk with the Wonderbolt's trainer forces her to admit what she's known for some time.

You're talking about Spitfire, right? No, I haven't read the story yet.

Nope. This story takes place a while in the future. Where Spitfire is will be explained in chapter two.

A well established beginning. I wonder where you'll take it.
And just out of curiosity, will this story be told strictly from Scootaloo's perspective, or do you plan to switch between her and Dash?

I shall watch for updates, tracking

Thank you!
Currently, I plan to stay with Scootaloo's perspective. That could change in later chapters, but isn't planned that way right now. This story is heavily inspired by some of my personal experiences, which have all been on Scootaloo's side of the situation.

Wow, this story's looking really interesting. Can't wait for more.

Please, keep going. This is wonderful. And I'm sorry you've had people in your life go through those things. Tell the story you need to :pinkiesad2:

No problem, kinda reminds me of Cars 3 a bit, actually.

Took me a while to read this chapter, and off the bat what was going on with Rainbow's situation. Even if I don't have the disorder I went through the same stages it hurts alot espically when you don't want others to know the fear of the result can be to much to be even if it's close ones.

I'm glad you're writing this story, it help shed a light bout how people deal with such ailments in their lives.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

Knowing your enemy often makes it less scary, but when it’s something like this that you can’t stop, I really don’t think it will help...

I agree. For some people, it helps. For some, it doesn't. Knowing what is going to happen in the case of a progressive disease, for example, could be scarier than not knowing. In this case, Scootaloo felt so lost it seemed like the only thing she could do. We'll see how she handles what she learns in the next chapters. Thank you for your input!
