The short stories/vignettes are in the MLP:FiM-verse and EqG-verse but are totally at random within those universes. They are inspired by the show so they should give me plenty of solid pony setup. While I am inspired by the cards I likely won't follow them slavishly. The style of the stories/vignetttes will tend to be extra short and are often driven by songs (which I will link in the comments). It doesn't matter if you are unfamiliar with the pony CCG as they are just a base to give the story a direction and I won't use any technical jargon. This anthology is inspired by reading FanOfMostEverything's Story Shuffle (check that out if you haven't already!).

(Technical stuff) The only game concepts I will use are the division between friends/events/items and the problems that they solve. To set the story I will randomly pick one of my decks, randomly pick a friend/event/item card and problem within the deck. I will achieve the randomness using a random number generator.

Huh. Well, it's always nice to see that I've inspired others. Good call in using two cards at once to compensate for the much more straightforward conversion of pony cards to pony stories.

That said, if your explanation for the story is as long (or longer!) than the story itself, something has gone wrong. Flesh out your narratives beyond two paragraphs! That isn't a story; it's barely a scene. I would've loved to watch Platinum muscle her way to the crown, or... well get some sense of what even was going on with this one. When you identify the perspective character in the last sentence of the story, it should be for a grand reveal, not because you just hadn't gotten the chance to do so yet.

I'm going to keep an eye on this, because the concept seems very promising. But again, I strongly encourage you to build up the stories more. You'll learn a lot more from the effort, and your work will be far more engaging as a result.

thanks for the comment and keeping track! And for making such a sweet series :3 I'm still reading through it but love what you've done so far

I'll take that on board and try to make them more of a developed scene and uh actually work on my writing :P
