This has been a very interesting and amusing read
I really like the Chaos Magic lore, the focus on Screwball and her thoughts, as well as the bits of randomness. Your style of writing descriptions is rather unusual and... Uh, specific? It’s hard to name it 
It flows a little strangely at first, but once the reader gets a grasp of it, it is alright.
OH! Was that a reference to Dune I saw there? Ha, ha, ha, wonderful. This story is definitely Daughter of Discord worthy fanon. I wonder what Rainbow Dash is going to think if she finds out Pegasi are no longer alone in the sky.
