You see, he asked a question that I did not consider necessary given the ideas I had, and still have, for this story. I came up with an answer to the best of my ability even though the story itself had nothing to do with rape, consensual or not, and just gave it to him. I didnt, and still don't know what to call something like this, and so that's why we're having this conversation. However, calling something a "get out of jail free card" does not merit the same reaction as calling it a cop out or even lazy writing, which I assume is what you meant. I apologize if my response seemed a little too emotional, but i just wrote from the heart on this story so...
