I'm not on board on this. Twilight or Starlight won't take Trixie's threat so calmly. Twilight and Starlight would take a stand and might attack Trixie. But it has a good premise so I'm tracking it.

A few errors and it felt rushed. Maybe have Trixie get upset and send Spike away with a spell instead? With Trixies rage it could send him somewhere random and far away. You could then have Trixie realise what she did and feel guilty. Everybody would search for Spike then and you have your story. Just an idea.
