Hellhounds are dark creatures that inhabit the pits of the Underworld and punish the souls of the damned. Sometimes, they are sent out to drag the souls of the damned to the Underworld where they proceed to devour them over and over again. Sometimes, they are sent out alone, but others sent in packs. Either way, it's a terrifying experience to have a Hellhound hunting you. No matter where you go, a Hellhound will find you.
Frightfang is a Hellhound puppy who's simply trying to live his best life possible. Due to the nature of his species, he spends as much time fighting his siblings as he does playing with them. One day, a bunch of colorful mortal creatures actually come to the Underworld without being dragged there by one or more Hellhounds. When he accidentally follows them outside the gates, he tracks them back to Ponyville. The populace becomes terrified of the demonic pup. However, before the mob could do anything, a creamy Pegasus steps in and saves him.
How will Fluttershy handle a creature from a species that are naturally dark and destructive?
This story is in honor of my dog Maggie, who sadly passed away from old age earlier this year. RIP Maggie!

I got the idea for the story after watching the second episode of the second season of "Helluva Boss", particularly Loona's backstory. That, and I dedicated to to my dog Maggie, who is sadly no longer with us. I always thought Hellhounds were very interesting creatures.

What does he do officially in your story that could serve as a front for a magical creature trafficking operation? That's not something that crosses with education, especially not at the administrative level. Seems like something you'd want an OC for.

It'll be revealed why Neighsay is dealing in a black market for Hellhounds in a later chapter. He maintains his old job so as not to draw suspicion to himself. He also oversees dog pounds to mask his smuggling operation. I understand an OC, but due to Neighsay's nature, he felt like the best fit from the show.

I know how it feels to lose a pet over the years, some of the dogs I have had are dead or old from accidents. I currently have 3 dogs, the most recent is a dog that I adopted on the street when I came to see a friend, she is involved In several knots they already knew what they wanted to do with her, I had no choice but to take her home at first I wanted to give her up as an adoption because we already had two male dogs but after a while my mom let me keep her, she fell in love with her a while later we adopted her two kittens per hour we have 2 male dogs a female dog and two female kittens
