"Spike?", Twilight calls from the near one of the buildings at Spike's hiding area.
Spike turns to the open streets as he heard Twilight's call. "Twilight?", he asked.
"Was that you?", Twilight asked.
Spike jumps for joy after he heard Twilight the second time. "TWILIGHT!", he shouts. He began running toward her. "I'm coming!"
"Hey! Get back here!", the two street stallions bellowed, running after the dragon.
"I think it's coming from this area over here.", Twilight said, getting closer to Spike's hiding spot where he spent the night. "Spike?" She looks straight ahead of her and saw Spike running toward her. She beamed brighter than ever.
"Twilight!", Spike cried with tears in his eyes. He jumped to Twilight and wrapped his arms around her neck for a tight hug.
The group was delighted with joy. "Hurray!" was all the girls can say as they watched Twilight and Spike hugging.
Twilight returned the hug back to the little drake. "Oh, Spike.", she cried with tears in her eyes. "I missed you so-" Before Twilight finished her sentence, Gunfire grabbed Twilight by the neck with a hoof and slammed her into a wall, causing Spike to become loose from her embrace.
The girls gasped.
"SPIKE'S OURS!", Gunfire yelled.
"W-What?", Twilight asked nervously.
"Spike's a street stallion just like me and Smokey!", Gunfire scowled.
"No I'm not!", Spike cried. "Leave her alone!"
"Shut the hell up, boy!", Smokey snapped.
"You better not hurt my friend, Spike.", Twilight snarled.
"You shut up too!", Gunfire snapped. "Or I'll stab you!" He revealed a knife in his hoof.
Spike and the other girls gasped with fear. "NO!", Spike screamed.
"Help is on the way!", a voice called out.
Starlight turned around. "Trixie?", she asked.
Trixie was with Shining Armor and Cadence. Shining and Cadence saw Twilight with her neck lost in Gunfire's hoof. "Twily!", they cried.
"LEAVE STARLIGHT AND HER FRIENDS ALONE, YOU PSYCHOTIC BASTARDS!", Trixie screamed.
Gunfire and Smokey stepped back in fear. "What...?", Gunfire asked. "Who are you three?"
"What our names are is none of your business!", Cadence shouted.
"Yeah!", Shining shouted. "Besides, you come to mess with my sister and her friends, you come to mess with us!"
Gunfire and Smokey ran to the three heroes in attack. Trixie shot magic out of her horn right at Gunfire, causing him to fly and fall to the ground. Cadence trapped Smokey in a ball of magic and Shining lifted the ball with his magic and threw it to the ground.
"Come and get us, if you want a piece of us!", Trixie bellowed.
The two street stallions grabbed Trixie by the neck and slammed her into the wall. Gunfire was preparing to stab Trixie with his knife.
Starlight gasped. "No! Trixie!", she screamed.
Spike spotted cigarettes on the ground. He picked them up and whistled to them. "Hey, guys!", he called, getting the two stallions' attention. "You want these cigarettes, come and get them." He threw them at the dead end wall between the two buildings.
The street stallions ran to the cigarettes and tried to pick up every single one of them with their hooves. Unexpectedly, Spike ran up to them and breathed fire on them, causing them to catch on fire. The street stallions screamed in pain as the flames burned them, they ran in circles while they screamed. After a moment of burning, they fell to the ground, all barbecued and dead.
Trixie sat up and rubbed her head. "Huh?", she moaned. "What happened? Spike?"
Spike smiled warmly. "Hi, Trixie.", he said.
"Spike, you... you saved me.", she said, beaming.
Starlight, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash ran up to Spike and Twilight and shared their embrace with the little dragon. "Oh, Spikey-wikey, we missed you so much.", Rarity said, nearly crying her eyes out.
"We all missed you very much, Spike.", Pinkie said, hugging tightly.
They all cut the embrace. "So, Cadence and Shining Armor, what are you two doing here?", Twilight asked.
"Trixie came to the castle and told us that you, Starlight and your friends were in danger, so we came looking for you.", Shining said.
"And by that, what are you all doing here?", Cadence asked.
"We came here to find Spike, because we missed him so much.", Applejack said.
"How did Spike end up here anyway?", Cadence asked.
"Ask her.", Twilight said, pointing a hoof at Trixie angrily.
Cadence and Shining Armor turned to Trixie with a glare. "Did you have something to do with this?", the pink alicorn said.
"Um... well... yeah.", Trixie said.
"What did you do?", Shining growled.
Trixie sighed. "I forced Twilight to let Spike go.", she said.
"Why?", Cadence asked.
"He ripped my cloak and-", Trixie started, when Shining cut her off.
"Whoa. Whoa. Spike, is that true?", Shining asked.
"Yes, I did and I didn't.", Spike said. "It was sort of an accident."
"She then flipped out and forced Twilight to let him go just like that.", Rainbow Dash said. "We tried so hard to tell her that Rarity can sew it back together and-"
"That's why I came to say that I agree with the idea now.", Trixie said. "Yelling at Spike and blaming him was a mistake."
"Well, now that he's here with us again, can we please bring him back home to be reunited with us?", Fluttershy asked.
"Yes, we want to bring Spike home, it would splendid if you let him come back to Ponyville.", Rarity said.
"Yeah, I would definitely want Spike to be with us again.", Applejack said.
"I agree with Applejack, Spike deserves to stay in Ponyville with us.", Rainbow Dash said.
"Yes, can you please let Spike come back? Pretty please?", Pinkie asked cutely with puppy like eyes.
"What's your option, Trixie?", Twilight asked. "Can Spike come back to Ponyville? He's the best friend I have in the world."
Trixie looked at the pleading faces of Twilight and her friends. Then, she looked at Starlight's. "Well, since Spike has become a hero who saved me from the street stallions, sure, he can come back.", she said.
"Do you really mean that, Trixie?", Twilight asked.
"Of course I do, Princess Twilight.", Trixie said. "And I did read that letter on Starlight's door, I wanted her back, because I'm crazy about her." She blushed with embarrassment. Then, the blush had gone away. She stepped toward Starlight. "I'm crazy about you, Starlight. I'm sorry of the way I acted."
Starlight smiled. "Oh, Trixie.", she said, hugging her friend. "Maybe there is a softy side still left inside of you. If you promise to keep your anger in control."
"Of course I will.", Trixie said. She then stepped over to Spike. "And, Spike, on the other hoof, I'm so sorry that I forced you to be let go by Twilight. Can you ever forgive me?"
Spike nodded. "Sure, Trixie.", he said. He walked over to the blue unicorn, hugged her tightly, and nuzzled his cheek into her chest.
Trixie smiled with pride. "I guess we can all go home as a family.", she said.
