Why, do I have a feeling he'll be back. There is no way that is the end of Tony. the question is, will he return as himself or something else completely
the 'to be continued' bit has me patiently waiting for the sequel.
I dont know any warhammer stuff, but this has been a nice read. I hope the sequel isn’t too many years away.
Can't wait for part 2 :)
Great job, do more!
Knowing the emperor's will shall tell of one's path , this is not the end brother you're mission has but began you will return stronger and anew

Mabey as a dreadnaught?
Tony did what he needed to do. Turn an impossible situation into a victory. Just like an Ultramarine is supposed to. Though sometimes sacrifices are required...
Looking forward to the sequel!
Wasn't there a robot custodes? Not just the one from tts, I mean. Maybe Tony will get one of those bodies
Oh thank goodness this is not the end! I thought didn't know we were getting a sequal and I was about to read 5.5 until I say the author's notes on top I thought that all of the ponies met a terrible end so I read the final chapter and was relieved that the ponies are alright and that there will be a sequel. I can't wait for the sequel that's to come and what you got planned for us.
Sequel wen pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee deaar goooooddddd!!!
there are still some mysteries unsolved. What is in the inner sanctum?

when I saw the complete tag I was honestly a bit worried but let out a sigh of relief at the end of the chapter.
Honestly can't wait to see the sequel.
Sequel!!!!! Woot woot!!!

The ending felt rather abrupt. And Antionus' end felt heroic, but.. empty. Working so long on the whole relationship dynamic, to end it without it being tested.. I don't know..
Holy moly what a story. It doesn't feel like it's been 362k words but I suppose it has been a long time and now I can finally do a whole re-read through. This story has been such a refreshing ride and I'm quite glad to see there's set to be a sequel with the Sword of Iax actually showing up, I'm sure there will be many more shenanigans with a whole group of space marines that aren't used to the ponies antics. Also I wonder if it truly is the end for Tony, or if this is just his excuse for becoming a primaris marine like so many other named marines these days.
Anyways congrats on finishing this beast! I'm eagerly looking forward to more.

Honestly I have to agree...... his death just felt empty, as you said, like it was just shoehorned in just so the story could end....... it feels cheap.

Did you mean this guy?

Brother Santodes!
I mean, with the Emperor anything is possible...

Although I am not that surprise that Tony might die eventually, I felt a bit disappoint that I don't get to see how effective the Elements against those Chaos forces.
God I've loved this story from Chapter 1. I'm very eager to see what you have planned for the next part.
Till the last words it was alike Soviet era WWII films - usually ending with the glorious death of the hero - as one step towards the Victory.
But this promise of sequel... Well, this is the world of magic and wonders, so anything is possible :-)
A DUTY HONOURABLY DISCHARGED! MAY YOU FIND SALVATION IN THE EMPERORS GOLDEN LIGHT, BROTHER VARUS
Way to end the story with a bang! As the saying goes, "Only in death does duty end."
Really appreciate all the work put into this fic, I thoroughly enjoyed every bit
And magic is heresy! *DKoK noises*
He... died? Hot damnd!
The emporer!
Ouch...
I am curious how this continues

Nah, it was a good end of an arc.
Reviving him would cheapen his sacrifice.
Besides, he accomplished more than millions of his brothers by securing the STC.
YOU HAVE A LOYAL READER FRIEND!
I AM AT YOUR SIDE ALWAYS!
In all honesty. That was one of the best stories i've ever read on this site.
You can bet everything you own that I'll show up for the next intallment!
Long may he rest, brother Antonius. (Turns to other officers,) about the cloning technology you mentioned... spacemarine soul in a bottle? Yes. All the funding you need.
(Turns back around)
Now run along... grow brother Abtonius a new body to occupy my little toaster lovers. Pump those mechanical legs. Run damn you all! I wanted that new Marine forty-five minutes ago!
AND DONT CHEAP ME OUT! QUALITY TOASTER HUMPERS! QUUUAAALLIITTTYYYY!!!

Ya but the Luna romance it was so cute
I hope Trazyne the Inifinite makes an appearance in the sequel. Would be crazy if Daring do stumbles into a Necron tomb in the jungle.
SEQUEL SEQUEL SEQUEL SEQUEL! AH YEEEEAH!
Now we wait for another 7 years for sequel to be complete
Ya know, until i started reading this story i just never realized how badly i needed it.
Damn i need more already XD
So with a sequel coming, does that mean that the Ultramarines will get a new successor chapter whose stronghold will be in orbit over the planet? Or are the ponies actually a breed of abhuman that're chaos-resistant?
The final explosion ended as it started, between the power of friendship, and the chaos of the warp, he is not dead, transported else were, in hibernation most likely, yess,
al will most likely be the one to find him, unless he startles his battle Brothers by transporting to his destination, the one he programed at the start of all this.
Celestia connection to the great beyond gave up the ghost, the magic of friendship sorta foreshadows it.
Small chance shenanigans of transportation may restore his limbs with magical bull.
I hope im right on some front, luna deserves better, small chance the author is a sadist and plant false red Haring's of hope.
Other whys the amount of media i have consumed has proven this to be somewhat true. Grim dark is also cruel, but how dose friendship magic balance this cruelty?

The princess are the two missing primarchs, in some shape or form, discord may be some off shoot there of.
11101685
Such a painful statement of fact.
11095751
Hes not dead, he was transported via the warp, remember, he got there by a similar explosion, nevermind he had just activated his latent friendship magic, in defense.
Also note that the witness to his displacement to pony land said, he was carried away by a golden ball of light.
You killed him, YOU BASTARD, YOU'LL DIE FOR THIS!!!!
I have mixed feelings about this story. I read the whole thing and am glad I did so. Overall, it was fun! The plot was interesting and did more than I initially expected from "Space marine lands in Equestria". I especially enjoyed learning more about WH40k through this and while relatively sad the ending was fitting. But at the same time some of it fell flat or overly slow. Stormy for example did not feel good for the story. Taking care of her the first night after she was orphaned was great. It showed a caring side to why space marines do what they do. Once that was expanded to taking care of her on a more permanent basis though the story nearly ground to a halt as suddenly large portions of chapters were about taking care of her instead of advancing the plot. The inclusion of events like the wedding and comic story lines were fun but unfortunately the later ones felt forced. It started off strong with both of Chrysalis' plans. In each Antonious played a moderate or major role without dramatically changing events. Those were satisfying to read. The later ones though always devolved into letting the story play out per canon while he watched. Either due to magic that was hard to explain or arriving slightly too late. It did not feel like he ever accomplished anything important anymore. There was never an enemy offscreen that would have stopped the mane 6 if he had not intervened or something critical he needed to do to aid them. Each one was just recognizing a problem and then waiting for it to be solved (much to his own chagrin as well). I was nearly elated when he got to cut vines from the forest just because he was finally able to do something in a canon event. I am still glad to have read this and I will remember it as a fun story, but there were definitely some slow and/or disappointing arcs.
