Well, that was... that indeed was... something i'm sure. Just not quite sure what indeed it was.
I'm with Pyro. That was certainly a novel experience, to say the least. I feel like some threads in this tapestry could use a little tightening, but there's definitely some good stuff here.
I got a very "Bloodborne" feel off the Catacomb's description.

Yeah, to be honest, I'm not super proud of this. I did originally have some more exposition and explanations planned, but it seemed to be somewhat unnecessary and straining on the story. In the end, I decided to go with less detail. It was probably too much cutting, and could have done with more meat, though.
To be honest, Fromsoft's modern RPGs (Demon's/Dark Souls, Bloodborne) were some of the biggest inspirations for this story.

7058275 Well, that makes a lot of sense, I've always been a big fan of Dark Soul's not quite forthcoming story, Japanese story telling is always quite, different compared to western story telling.
