Twilight is bored out of her mind. Her books are read and organized, and all of her friends are busy or out of town. At least, all of her new friends. But when she suddenly remembers that she has other friends, a horrible thought jumps into her head.
She apologized to Minuette, Twinkleshine, Lemon Hearts, and Moondancer. But she never took the time to apologize to Lyra!

Yet another great story. I have to say I like Berry and Minuette the best, they just make such a good couple. Also, I get the very distinct 'there's gonna be a sequel' feeling about this story, has absolutely nothing to do with the last line. Well, looking forward to the next story/chapter you publish. Honestly, I'm surprised that the show didn't have some sort of epilogue, or another episode, showing something like this. Sure, Lyra got her chance to shine in the Slice of Life episode, but you'd think they would have at least shown Twilight writing her a letter or visiting her or something.

I enjoyed this for the most part and twilight is true to form, it kinda felt like she was the one dimensional pony in this peice. Like she was just here to learn a lesson from the other ponies. I'm not sure exactly why i t feels like that to me but I think its the way she's kinda always reacting instead of acting.

You're pretty on the nose about Twilight here. She does do a lot of reacting in this story, and she does really just fill the role of "Lesson of the day is" pony. Part of that is because I'm not the best when it comes to writing about the Mane Six. With Lyra, Berry, Minuette, and other background ponies, I feel like I can play around with them more since they're not as established.
But, the other reason Twilight is like this here is because I feel like that's what happens to her when she starts to freak out over something. She becomes so hyper focused on the problem at hoof that any small thing that happens outside of her plan throws her so hard. She has trouble adapting when things don't go the way she thinks they should, and so she's left just going, "Wait...what? But I thought..." even after all the other ponies tell her it's no big deal.
6494399 I KNOW! You'd think what with all the Pandas and continuity they have been throwing at us fans that they would had Twilight touch bases with Lyra (especially while she was looking for something to do while Rarity and AppleJack were away).
I'll admit i would rather see something that wasn't so obviously set in the universe of your various stories, but that doesn't make your story any less of a good read.
