What can one do when face with tragedy? What can one do when Death snatched their very loved ones, right before their very eyes? In tragic times, it is only best to remember the fallen, and honor them for their deeds. Only Remembrance of their deeds and of their lives will make them feel worthy. Remember the past as you look toward the future. Grieve for the loss yet with hope in your heart. That is what Celestia and Luna did, when they send off their beloved fathers.

This story was an entry for the Writeoff Association contest, Distant Shores.

Special thanks to my editor KillerShadow15. Without his help in getting this story fleshed out I wouldn't know where to go.

Good luck with the story.

6420630 Thank you. I hope others will enjoy it as I have in making it.

The 'Thine' in the title should be 'Thy'.

Thine = archaic form of yours; the thing or things belonging to or associated with thee. "His spirit will take courage from thine."

Thy = archaic or dialect form of your. "Honour thy father and thy mother"

What your basically saying is "The Remembrance of Yours (Thine) King." It should be "The Remembrance of Your (Thy) King"

6421400 I made the changes. Thanks for the input. I hope you enjoyed the story.
