I think this has potential. Romeo and Juliet meets nature. Don't be discouraged, even though this doesn't really feel too romantic right now, but it's definitely interesting.

you have great romantic description, if you were to do a shipfic between two ponies, i think it would turn out wonderfully.

First, this was awesome just based on the premise alone. I think that goes without saying.
Even more surprising, though, is that it's actually pretty good anyway. It doesn't go overboard on the melodrama, has decent description, and is easy to read (not in terms of simplicity, but in terms of not being obtuse). You, sir, have earned a favorite!
