Is it wrong that I like this Rarity a whole lot more than I liked the original at this point in the show?
Hell, Rarity and Rainbow were the only ponies I disliked for the longest time. I got over my dislike for Rarity pretty soon, but I liked Gilda more than RD until much later, and I don't like Gilda.

I like how much emotion Rarity manages to convey with just a red light, and a yellow light.
I have mixed feelings about Twilight starting to treat Rarity as almost ordinary. I feel like the fic needs at least one grounded character to provide a reference point for measuring the insanity.

This story is crack of the highest quality, and while it's a shame it won't continue, this chapter still makes a brilliant conclusion so it feels like it was deliberately ended rather than abandoned.
