7887643 Perhaps I should clarify that this isn't my first story. I've written many stories in the past, but I don't have the audacity to publish them on the site. That is mostly from fear of commitment as a writer, which is also why I'm inclined to submit one-shots or short stories. Although, I'm beginning to reassess that statement since I know my writing skills improved significantly over the past two years when this was published. Nonetheless, I appreciate and thank you for your input.
