At Hasbro studios, the newest generation of MLP is celebrating their 4th successful season! During the party however, several characters from other generations start appearing, it is revealed that Fausticorn herself invited them as an idea for a new spin-off involving the old G1 series, the two characters that are the most similar are put in the same room where they start arguing about their respective series and characteristics in the style of Apple's popular "I'm a Mac and I'm A PC" ads.
Sadly due to a mixup in the mail(thanks Derpy!) several characters from G2 & G3 start popping up! Can the Mane Six keep a level head while conversing with their "Ancestors"? Or will "Love and Tolerant" get trampled to the ground and thrown out the window?

I dunno Twilight feels much like she's be made the Strawman. Just feels a bit like WindWhistler enjoyed making Twilight mad and Twilight's reaction went to anger a bit too fast. Though the story does really remind me of Mac vs PC ads I really felt it. "Mac Guy" did always come off to me as a smug hipster douche who needed a punch in jaw, Windwistler doesn't seem THAT bad but still trollish.
I'll freely admit that this story is a bit more favorable towards g1 at the moment, and yes initially the Mane 6 will come across as kinda douches. I'll also admit that I'm kinda channeling the brony tendency towards disliking the previous gens into the g4 characters. Mostly cause there's enough previous gen hate out there that I feel that the other side should be represented. Maybe it is a straw man, but there are also a lot of misrepresentations of the previous gens out there in the brony community.
This is also my first attempt at this kind of humor, so I'm very inexperienced and learning this whole...meta thing. Hopefully I will improve with time. That's half of why I am here writing, after all.

I liked the Glass Princess... Then again I'm fond of Shady's Shadyness and Molly so that might play a part as to why.

Also, Twilight, word to the wise, don't go saying that 80s toons sucked in front of Generation X or they'll have yer purple hide tanned faster than Whizzer hyped up on Red Bull. Mind you, doesn't help that the solders and giant robots got full 22 minute episodes, while the G1 ponies were stuck with ten minutes deals. Talk about the short end of the stick. Regardless, can't wait for the next chapter (Tales cast can't totally won't be bitter over their one season of 13 episodes at all, not), keep up the good work ahilty!

I knew they'd be bested best buds. How could they not? Surprise always did remind me of Jokey Smurf. And it's good that they were both good natured enough not to take offense to one or the other winning.
