No one would just inmediately accept the situation of this story like you have your character do. A facade you put on to play video games would not be the same as the reaction you would have when being turned into a horse.
A few small errors I noticed, that a proofreader should have caught, but not terribly often so I guess it's acceptable... Even if it is about he who must not be named.

5589925 I could make an educated guess that English was your second language based on how you said you're a natural Swede. (Actually, are there a lot of English speakers in Sweden? I don't really know all that much about it.) But, even with that knowledge, your English is a LOT better than most non-native English speakers I know, and a good number of native English speakers I know.
