sounds like your being to hard it was a rather enjoyable short read
applejack does tend to be stubborn when she's made up her mind, if anything she may have given in to easily though perhaps its because she knew she was in the wrong or to simply keep it a shorter story.
It's funny but at the same time very clunky dialogue-wise.
