This is why I don't deal with ships. They don't make sense to me.
The entire premise is flawed... I think... again, I don't know the rules for ships so I might not be the right guy for this... but Cadence is Twilight's foal sitter, and now sister in law. To think that these two, so close to one another, are dating? I mean, I'd be 100% fine if you used the word 'sister in law' instead of Fillyfriend, and say that Twilight was visiting instead of living with Cadence.
Not to meantion Cadence has a husband. That's cannon.

Simply put, I was asked to write this by a friend. It's in an AU where Cadance and Shining were never together. In this AU, Shining Armor is with Luna, instead.
And Twilight ended up with Caddy.
