I have to confess, I had troubles reading this. My best suggestion would be for you to read your story out loud to yourself. There are a quite a few missed words and broken sentences. I like the inclusion of Bat ponies, but the grammar issues were too much for me to continue much past the eighth paragraph. I'm sorry I couldn't do more to help you out.
