Well this is interesting.
I liked the writing, not bad. But, the story was a bit too depressive, and it lacked any explanation. Okay it wasn't that bad, it has the "Sad" and "Dark" tag, I should have expected something like that, lol.
Good story anyway.
By the way, you should add the "Tragedy" tag.
Poor Twilight. She'll probably end up doing the exact same thing over and over again, since she forgot everything.
In a way, it could be used as a reboot.
This is really depressing. Especially when you consider the fact that she'll probably end up doing the exact same thing again.
I'm not quite sure I understand the explanation of why she was being sent back in time though...

had no concept of 'forgiveness', if she would throw anypony, who so much as used a calculator on a 'no calculators' test, into the dungeons.
There have been (offscreen) moments where Twilight (and she explained it) has lied, stolen, cheated, among other imperfections.

3848782 What I understood from the text was that Twilight did a lot of good things, but a very small amount of bad things, causing some sort of disharmony in her actions (too many good things, not enough bad things). I actually thought that would be an interesting subject, considering the show's definition of "harmony" seems to be "everything going right", while that is not so accurate. I thought this was what you meant to say in this story, that Twilight herself was going against harmony, as her actions are unbalanced.

So by this definition, even in a season spans 5 months, 7 months will have passed between that season and the next.
