The P Co

Welcome to my content. I like writing stories (which is luckily what the site is for) I write what I want, that's how I roll. WARNING: I attempt to counter my shitty writing by writing lots of stories

T

This story is a sequel to Chaos' Intervention.

'She was supposed to die! The lightning and fire we sent should have killed her! Why didn't she DIE?!?' the Spirits of Harmony panicked, their testee having escaped.

"Well, Spirits," Batman began, "You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain," he paused, switching flash-cards to his next statement, "Twilight is about to start living by the classic phrase 'if you knew then, what you knew now, what would you do differently?' and she's going to do a lot of things differently" the dark knight explained, before gliding away with his cape.

For 3 years, Twilight Sparkle has been being watched, and the past 3 years have happened to her over and over again, literally 100 times.

Luckily, Twilight had been inching towards an escape from this nightmarish circle, and after 300 years of testing and failing, she had awoken.

Now she will become Twilight 'The Most Dangerously-Genre-Savvy Mare in Equestria' Sparkle, with the future laid out in front of her, she's going to do things differently.

She's going to do things right, and wrong, she'll be a beacon of power, the likes of which have never been seen before.

Water doesn't conduct electricity that well. Salt water is better but aluminum beats them both. Gold however conducts it very well.

I am going to thumps up this just for Batman in the description

So, can Twilight outsmart Pinkies Pinkie Sense now or is Pinkie too random that not even knowing what should happen can give Twilight an advantage, because Pinkie just doesn't 'play by the rules'? Either way should be very funny to read. And it is probably just me, buuuuuuuuuuuut I'm really hoping for Twilight to go ful OP mode.

3854345 Even Pinkie's randomness follows contrived limits by which Twilight would normally be subject to the same.

In sorta-English here's a (poorly made) diagram. Spirits of Harmony's circle of sequential betterment of Twilight Sparkle:

->)Twilight starts at 1000AN in Canterlot -> everypony does what is invoked by her wiped-out-but-better mind V
^) V proceed through the three years/four seasons <- Twilight's changes influence a change in everything else <--
^) Twilight's slight short-term changes make large long-term changes due to how she did it differently V
^) V Twilight is judged for her actions over the three years <- these differences add up to the results in the final test
^) If she fails, she gets sent back V, but if she passes -> Twilight wins and receives the *name censored for spoilers*
^ <----------------------------------------<

However Twilight, at the start of this story, had just broken the cycle, she was sent back, but her mind wasn't wiped. The Amulet of Chaotic Protection provided her with not only an un-wiped mind, but she can recall the memories of the episodes at will, giving her an amazing advantage in that she can change what happens by doing it different.

Think of like the classic 'groundhog day' story, about the guy who got sent back to the beginning of the day when the day should have ended, and he has to do it over and over until he gets it right.

Well this whole 'test' was almost that, but with Twilight having her mind wiped and intentions pushed slightly in the right direction (like a tiny voice in her head or a statement that she 'thinks' she should live by)

Now this story is the tale of one of the cycles, the one in which Twilight knows what will happen and will do everything she can to make things better.

3853764 thank you, sir/madam/other, for pointing that out, now the two bits are switched, mythril conducts like salt water and adamantium conducts like aluminum.

Sir "ish" and you're welcome.

"I am Twilight, I'm me, just... I felt like I should be a better pony,"

*Twilicorn appears out of the magical light*

:applejackconfused: Twilight? Is that you?
:twilightsheepish: Yes, well, not quite
:duck: whatever do you mean darling?
:twilightblush: *wings flare open*
:pinkiegasp: she has WINGS!
 I am Twilight Sparkle, as she should have been.

1 giga-cookie for whoever identifies this reference

Am I lame for getting excited and liking my own work? Hell no! That's called being proud of it.

Lord of the Flies! Wait... that last word isn't quite right :rainbowhuh:

3855969 :twilightoops: awkward.

that awkward moment when others can see your comment, but you don't think that comment should be visible, since you posted it on a chapter that is yet to be released.

Again, :twilightoops: awkward

Clearly the only solution is to write the chapter and put it in a time capsule with instructions for those with time travel to break current believed conventions of time travel to send it to you before you made that comment.

3857235 right, but then time's string will be raveled up into a big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey... stuff.

And clearly, I must have failed my intelligence-check and didn't cast the protection of... :twilightoops:

*is accidentally going from embarrassed commenting to having... stuff on my things*

'Stuff' referring to 'condiments' and 'things' referring to 'sandwiches' I hate condiments, I'm that kind of person.

Odd, I thought they were all the same age except Fluttershy. Note that a 1 year difference made her taller and ganglier than the rest.:yay:

This fic seems to be heavily influenced by D&D

3875971 the spells from the paladins are, but most all of the rest of the story is going to be the normal progression of MLP, but of course Twilight knows everything that will happen in the future.

 Hopefully everything will be better.
:pinkiehappy: Yeah, and maybe I won't eat sugar for every meal.
:rainbowkiss: And maybe I won't fly fast.
:raritywink: I honestly don't know what you're talking about Twilight, but we'll all rise up on day.
:ajsmug: Yeah, ever-thangs gonna be aw'right.
:facehoof: That's a Jamaira saying.
:yay: I'd like to have a good story.
:moustache: Ooooohhh, I saaaay, Wingardium Leviosaaaaaaah, this tale will be... simply diviiiine.
:twilightangry2: Spike, take off the moustache, you've just spent up the quota of funny for this chapter.

:derpytongue2: I just don't know what's going on.
:scootangel:My big brother's a paladin.
