Pinkie starts having nightmares and she cant get rid of them. She is dreaming about herself, or better put some kind of herself, torturing her friends. Not being able to stop these nightmares she slowly descends into madness.
Luckily, she has her friends who are always there for her. But are her friends save from her?
Inspiration to write this fic came from the song "Something Broke" by "Tarby Rocks"

there are lots of stories that are dark here you could use for reference and I really like Pinkie fics!

Go ahead and continue with this man. Just because something similar has been done before does not mean you can't take a stab at it for yourself. Remember "The Hangover?" The most overdone and generic plot that has been thrown up countless times; and this movie takes it and does it right. That can be you too man. It never hurts to get more practice with your writing too. Run with it.

This chapter has many more references to the song. I like how you're mixing it up, here. Where half of the events in the beginning of the song did happen but the ending half is part of her dreams. The song is amazingly awesome and this fanfict is doing a good job of having it's own place. Please continue =)

Moar song references! Love it. The entire first half was so dark and sad! It also takes from the song the question of "Who is the REAL Pinkie Pie?" Is this voice inside her head (Pinkimena) really the fake one? Or is Pinkie Pie's joy and happiness just a mask that Pinkimena wears? Still you've left me at a cliffhanger. Quite a twist with Rainbow Dash waking up in the end. Too bad for Pinkimena that there's no restraints to keep RD down. This is gonna be good =D

Oh i'm sorry. Forever Broken is the follow up to Something Broke. It's a whole album (or double album) that TarbyRocks is working on. He's already done a couple of demos for some tracks. Sounds awesome so far.
I am loving that you decided to keep up with the story. Not sure where it is going but i am along for the ride!

It was about dash having nightmares of pinkie killing her, then dash goes mad, then she stabbed pinkie wiht the knife.
So the only difference is that the main character is having nightmares of herself hurting ponies.
I can see that you couldn't stand to be too mean to Fluttershy, you almost didn't do anything to her! How un-fun of you, mister!
The story is doing great, and the Pink Party Pony of Ponyville is having the worst nightmares of her life. I can only BEG you to not blame this on some kind of monster of something, I enjoy psychology-driven stories. I can't really say it would end badly if you did, but antagonists usually end up badly when they don't have a canon personality.
Nevertheless, this is great. My majorest of major complaints was:
"-Pinkie?-Fluttershy asked with doubt in her voice.
-Sorry, I can't do that, Shy!-Pinkie joyfully exclaimed."
Sounds like you skipped a sentence.
