She’d ignored them all but it wasn’t easy.

Losing her vision at the age of ten, and being a blank flank until she was nearly twenty-six had only made things worse.
But in the end she made it: A lieutenant of the famed Wonderbolts, making her two foalhood friends proud.

She owed her success to the captain. Who never gave up, and always pushed her to try harder.

Her gut unclenches when she receives a gentle nuzzle from her superior and adoptive sister.

“I’m proud of you, squirt. Congratulations.”
