142. Waking dreams.

What is sleep to those who only find nightmares there? Let me ask you in turn: What is the waking world to those who have lost everything, if not a nightmare?

What if, what you see out there were the dream? And this place, this fantastical world you visit when you close your eyes, is real?

I have seen many a dreamer run from the things they want most, simply because they fear the consequences, fear of having to find a new dream.

Do not fear to dream, my little ponies. I’ll not let any of you come to harm.
