138. Time.

Months of preparation. Weeks of deliberation. She was immortal, but now that the due date to carry out the latest of her plans was finally here; she found herself running out of time.

She skidded to a half only a few inches from her sister’s room, pausing in front of the double doors to try and regain her composure. This was going to be perfect. It had to be. She knocked on the door and poked her head inside to see her sister, asleep.

She stepped in, silent until she reached and nuzzled her sister. “Luna? Happy birthday little sister.”
