The True Meaning Of Love

Pain...that's all he felt. He wanted it gone, he pressed his face against his Paw and Claw. The images flashed in his mind. Blood pouring down his fangs, his eyes staring into the scared Foals. He remembered everything.

Discord cried, tears fell down his face. The images flashed in his mind, this time....it was a memory...

Discord paced down the dark corridor his blood red eyes gazed hungrily at the Alicorn...Slowly Discord crawled behind the Alicorn. His Claw talon's extended. He raised his Claw and in a quick flash he sliced the Alicorn's neak. The body crumbled and fell to the ground, blood began to pour out of the wound slowly the blood fell down...making a pool of blood. Slowly the blood ran all the way to Discord's feet, Discord flinched as he saw his reflection It's eyes gazed at him, it smiled showing its blood stained teeth...

Discord roared, pain filled his mind Discord shook his head he wanted everything to go away. But it didn't, slowly Discord's ears pricked up. He heard a voice, it was all to familiar....

Discord

"No" Discord croaked.

Give in Discord....you know you will have peace if you do. Don't do this Discord....just let go....

"Never....I will never give into the likes of you.." Discord coughed.

I didn't want to do this the hard way, but you made me....

"No..." Discord gasped.

Slowly his mind began of burn Discord yelled he shook his head madly. Discord stumbled he closed his eyes in pain. The memories poured into his mind. He snarled in pain, he thrashed wildly in pain. Discord opened his eyes and stared at the mirror. His eyes were red as blood. Blood dripped off his fangs, Discord yelled in pain. The Voice spoke again...

No one will love a Monster like you...

"Maybe....but I will always love one....no matter how the cause.." Discord croaked..

And who might that be?

"The true meaning of Kindness....Fluttershy..." Discord smiled.....

Those were his last words.......

Fire's swirled around Fluttershy. She couldn't believe what was happening before Discord attacked. Balls of fire were shot. Ponies began to burn to death, but for some reason, Fluttershy didn't believe that was Discord...

"FlutterShy watch out!" Yelled a voice.

FlutterShy yelped and ducked a great big ball of fire zoomed past her, and a certain Blue Pegasus Mare dodged it barley...

FlutterShy turned around and gazed at the fire, and the shadow. It's blood red eyes were fixed onto Fluttershy, it smiled blood dripped of it barley missing FlutterShy's hooves. Gulping Fluttershy took a step forwards.

Only to be lifted into the air by Rainbow Dash.

They both zoomed into the sky together dodging the fire balls that were following them slowly the Library came on the horizon. Fluttershy couldn't believe it, Ponyville was in ashes. All because of Discord, no, not Discord...it couldn't be.

Slowly Rainbow and Fluttershy realised their hooves and slowly they landed right next to the huge red Library door. Rainbow Dash knocked on the door, quickly the door opened revealing a lavender Unicorn. Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy's and Rainbow Dash's friend......

"Quick inside!" Twilight yelled.

Quickly FlutterShy and Rainbow stepped inside. Fluttershy gasped as she gazed at three Unicorn Filly's lying unconscious in pools of blood.

FlutterShy looked away, she still couldn't believe Discord, no she had to keep faith in Discord.

Slowly other Ponies gathered in somewhat a group huddled together, FlutterShy squeezed and lifted herself into the sky.

Twilight and Rainbow Dash were in front of the huddled group of scared Ponies...

Twilight stepped forwards lifting her head and spoke loudly...

"Unicorns Pegasi and Earth Ponies, Discord has betrayed us...the Element of Honesty and Generosity have been killed..." Twilight began.

Fluttershy lifted her hooves to her mouth. No, Applejack and Rarity, Dead?

A sob came out of two Filly that sat next to Rainbow Dash, the Filly's were AppleJack and Rarity's little sisters.

Fluttershy narrowed her eyes, she wanted to scream it was not true. But something held her tongue.

"I'm afraid Discord cannot be turned to stone without Applejack and Rarity. But we have found a solution, one Pony must go and confront Discord, and kill him..." Twilight said hoarsely.

"With this!" Rainbow Dash added while lifting up a large spear, Fluttershy gasped. It was bright golden, with a bronze coloured tip.

"Who will go?" Asked Twilight.

All the Ponies stood silent....all except Fluttershy, slowly she lifted her hoof into the air. Ponies gasped...

"I will go..." FlutterShy announced.

Slowly the spear that Rainbow held glowed it wretched itself from Rainbow's hoof, and lifted itself to Fluttershy's hoof...still glowing...

Ponies gasped with shock and hope.

Fluttershy nearly cried.

"It is done, the spear of Harmony has chosen its holder. Fluttershy, weilder of the Element of Kindness will destroy Discord the being of Chaos..." Twilight smiled.

Ponies began to cheer, then the roar came. Quickly Ponies scattered and hid behind bookcases and desks...

Fluttershy drew a breath, tears began to flow down her face.

Slowly FlutterShy flew down to the door, and opened it with a creeeekkkk

It was indeed Chaos, fire was everywhere, also blood and death.

Fluttershy breathed and stepped outside, the door slammed behind her.

Slowly Fluttershy lifted her spear and reared onto her hind-legs. She began to walk forwards.

It was easy to find Discord, since he was in the centre of Ponyville.

The creature gazed at the fire's he created. Fluttershy gulped and pressed forwards, soon the spear glowed brighter than the fires around her.

Discord growled and turned his head to face Fluttershy. She gasped in horror, Discord's eyes were filled with hatred and anger. Blood dripped of his Eagle Claw and Lion Paw. His Snaggletooth was also dripped in blood of the innocents...

FlutterShy shook in fear. Slowly Discord turned his entire body and walked forwards to Fluttershy he smiled a devil filled grin.

FlutterShy gulped, slowly she raised the golden spear.

Then Discord attacked. He flipped Fluttershy up and kicked her into a nearby building. He took the spear and snapped in two. He then laughed at the pain-filled Pegasus...

Fluttershy knew she failed. Her weapon was destroyed Discord would kill EveryPony she knew. But, she didn't feel any doubt. No pain. Slowly she let herself up and gritted her teeth and faced Discord. He looked back...

"Your not Discord..." She yelled.

The creature laughed coldly, sending chills up Fluttershy's spine..

"Of course I'm not...I'm the Monster inside him..." The creature smiled.

"....You are indeed a Monster...You made Discord kill Applejack and Rarity!" Fluttershy yelled.

Slowly mist began to flow around her. The creature's eyes widened so did Fluttershy's eyes widened, but that didn't stop her...

"Applejack was killed by you not Discord, Rarity was killed by you not Discord, Twilight is scared, Rainbow lost her faith. And Pinkie fled, but I however will not turn....I WILL STAND UP TO YOU!" Fluttershy yelled

The mist began to rise making, shapes? Soon the Mist formed a....Pony...two in fact no...five...

Fluttershy gasped as she saw misty Ponies looking just like her friends, each were wearing their elements...

Fluttershy lowered her head, she knew what she had to do. She had to kill Discord,!she had to kill the one she loved..

Her misty form of friends nodded like they knew what she was going through, they began to stand in positions....

The mist began to make them rise. Fluttershy to...the Monster gasped In surprise..

FlutterShy closed her eyes, the mist began to flow into her. She suddenly felt warm. Fluttershy opened her eyes and looked up above her, was a misty heart...

"This is for Discord, the one I love.." Fluttershy whispered.

The misty heart glowed, bright it slowly turned into colours of the rainbow, it then attacked Fluttershy closed her eyes and let out one tear, before the blast erupted.

The monster had no chance. The echos of agony and pain echoed through Fluttershy's ears. She let out tears of pain and sadness. She closed her eyes...

The echoes of pain and agony slowly died Fluttershy felt herself being lifted down.

FlutterShy opened her eyes and gasped, a ghost, of Discord was right before her.

"D-Discord..." Fluttershy gasped.

The ghost slowly nodded...

Tears fell down Fluttershy, she felt his Paw lift her head up. She gazed at Discord's mix-mactched eyes...

He smiled showing his bright gleaming clean Snaggletooth...

"I love you Fluttershy...." He whispered.

"I love you to Discord...." Fluttershy cried...

Slowly the ghost fade away......

FlutterShy gasped as she saw nothing but a long curved Snaggletooth on the floor, picking it up FlutterShy remembered something, from a book...

Love will never die unless you make it...even after death Love will always last....

Fluttershy smiled. She knew she felt Discord behind her....
