3584531 my attempts at finding an editor have led to them utterly destroying my stories and laughing at my writings. I already understand that I am a terrible writer and I have accepted that. Though for some reason people are reading two of my stories. This one for obvious reasons and the other I still don't know. If I had the time I would simply go through and fix all the errors myself, but everytime I try I'm too exhausted to even bother and only jerkwads like you who have to take the time out of their day to nitpick at EVERY TINY LITTLE MISTAKE someone makes gives me a reason to really bother. I respect and understand CONSTRUCTIVE Criticism. What you posted was not that. Your comments were written in the same manner as one would use to explain something to a three year old child and I do not appreciate that. If you are working two jobs, struggling to keep your brothers in school, and hoping you don't get kicked out of your house, would you have the time to worry about tiny mistakes here and there that only someone with OCD-or a jackass who has to drag a writer down because they aren't perfect- is going to notice?. 3584776 Find an editor that is willing to not only give you a list of what you did wrong, but why they are wrong. I work with my editor in google drive and he leaves comments on parts that are wrong or needs improvement and labels them as edits or suggestions. I had a few who just wanted to fix things, but that doesn't help me learn anything. Finding a good editor is hard, though, don't make the mistake that it was easy to find someone that I could work with. If you make it clear that you want to learn and not just have your story fixed up, then you'll get better reactions from potential editors, though.
