Twilight is obsessing over writing a novel, to the point where she is actively shunning her friends for more time to write. Spike has about enough of this after catching her trying to pull another all-nighter and calls an intervention. To help Twilight unwind, Celestia invites the Mane Six and Spike to a luxury spa in Hoofdale for a four day weekend. They all agree, some of them for Twilight’s sake. Once there they try to make Twilight forget about her book for a few days and enjoy some relaxation.

My only complaint is that you keep turning adjectives into adverbs by adding -ly to them. That's not how it works, and it really stands out. But that's the only problem, it was an accurate depiction of being a writer and cute over all.

246492 Yeah, I recently got the same complaint on another story. It is a lazy solution to getting the tone across, although I did double check all of my adverbs on the WordWeb thingy I downloaded so they all do exist. It's just a very tell-y mechanic which I should replace with something more show-y. Thanks for reading though and glad you liked the plot.

Aww, I was going to do a story like this. Oh well, still a good read.

302720 You still can if you want, you might do better than I did.

A lifetime of being accused of being a filly fancier had made her a little homophobic.

No, the word you're looking for here is "paranoid."

308063 Wasn't 100% sure about that line but it served its purpose. I suppose paranoid would make a lot more sense, I don't know what I was thinking. :derpyderp2: Changing now. :twilightblush:

I love paranoid Dash at the gay bar. Great story!

Fun story. But even if Eau de Vie can be literally translated into Water of Life, in French it usually means Alcohol.
