What a sweet, romantic story! I wasn't sure what to think when I started, since a lot of stories end with Fluttershy getting hurt (which makes my blood boil!), but this one worked out well, and Bass ended up being a more than decent stallion. Imagine my surprise! So, suffice to say, I rather enjoyed your story. :)

What's the point of a saddle, in a world where they're not used to allow another species to ride the wearer (the only pony to regularly allow someone to ride them is Twilight, and she's always done that bare-backed)?
Weird...
Twilight? Outgoing? Only really around these five; I know she'd like to spend all week reading, if they (and Spike) didn't force her out of the library.
And to think it was actually Fluttershy who pushed Basswub into penetrative sex, not the other way around. She knew she was in heat too, but the romantic atmosphere overrode her common sense and made her incredibly frisky. I'd even say it wasn't Bass's fault, since he did ask several times if they could stop (though I don't think he actually knew Fluttershy was in heat; he might've known instinctually, but not consciously), but Flutters kept on replying 'let's continue'.
So Rarity's wanting to harm Bass is way out of proportion - he was the perfect gentlestallion, and shouldn't be unfairly punished for it.
