This story is a sequel to Epiphany

Twilight has come back to the human world to visit Sunset Shimmer after having been away for a few weeks attending to things in Equestria. However, it turns out that she is greeted by a very tired, worn out, and obviously sick Sunset Shimmer. Twilight mentions having found a book at the Canterlot High library and Sunset asks Twilight to read to her.

Twilight is a nerd, regardless of circumstances. Sunset Shimmer has a mild case of homesickness. This all takes place during a study date, of course.

It's been six months since Sunset last saw Princess Twilight in the coffee shop. Now she has a surprise for Twilight at Christmas time. However, Twilight has a surprise of her own.

Twilight is prone to overthinking things, and prefers to learn things in theory, rather than through practice. Sometimes, though, you need a bit of help from your friends.

Okay Sunset, you can do this. All you have to do is walk up to her and tell her how you feel. It's Valentine's Day, and Twilight isn't the type of girl to go out her way to embarrass someone. I can do this. I can do this. I...I...

What happens when you kiss your best friend because of a silly mistletoe tradition? Something has sparked between Twilight and Sunset that neither of them realized they were ready to face. And all right before the Christmas Formal. This is a story about two friends. The struggle of hiding feelings and the discovery of them blossoming.
