This is a alternate ending for Rated Ponystar's story Fallen Knowledge of that story is absolutely required to properly enjoy this one.

In dark and lonely cell, Fluttershy's resolve has been tested six times. Six friends tried and all failed. But where friends could only fail, what can a stranger do? A stranger with no conscience, or regard to human and pony life alike.

Many people liked the original story, and I am very much included on that list, however, I always felt that the motivation of the ponies were... lacking. They were so cartoonish I had trouble believing that they could believe their own reasoning. Which is fine, in a lot of cases, one of my favourite disney animation movie is Cindarella, and boy is the villain in that simple, but pitching a villain like that in a story that delves very deep into the horrors of a real war, felt... I guess it just felt wrong.

So I wondered: how would a world look like where the ponies had a very tangible reason to feel their actions were justified? And would it be better or worse?

Allright gang, acknowledgement time: First of all I want to thank Mr/Mrs/Ms/Miss. Ponystar without whom this story would have never occurred to me. They also inspired to write the epilogue, originally this was only meant to be a three chapter story. (Well originally-originally it was only supposed to be a one chapter story but that's neither here or there.)

Marble Pie and Big Mac had only ever met once. In the beginning, she wasn't sure if she felt anything for him or not, but by the time the big red stallion had to leave, Marble Pie knew that he was somepony special. There was something about him that just made her blush, whether it was his strangely charming clumsiness due to his size, his short but expressive one word answers, or something else she couldn't consciously see. All she knew was that she wanted to see him again.

When Marble Pie heard that her family would be the ones visiting the Apples this Hearth's Warming, she decided she was going to was going to confess no matter what it took. But when she saw Big Mac kissing that beautiful pink pony, she knew her chance was gone. Heartbroken, she begins to close herself off as she tries to figure out how to deal with the pain. Fortunately her eldest sister, Limestone Pie, knows all about dealing with harsh feelings.

Pinkie is a normal party pony... or so she thought until recently. But now she has learned she was born with the darkest kind of magic: Blood Magic. A magic that is known for it's darkness and corruption. A magic that, if in the wrong hooves, could kill off all of Ponykind. However, Pinkie was born with the power in her blood. A power that could be used for evil... but could also be used for good.

But how can Pinkie ever trust her power? How can she be sure she can keep her promise to Princess Celestia: Protect Equestria at any cost, even her own life? How can she be trusted... when she doesn't even trust herself?

And who is this mysterious pony that is trying to steal the Element of Laughter? Is he or she a new villain, or an old enemy, back from the dead to finish what he started? Or is he or she trying to send Pinkie a message?

The town of Ponyville looks like a nice place to live with the friendly ponies and nice buildings but deep down it's more sinister-ish. NOTE THE BAD ENDINGS AREN'T CANONICAL THERE JUST SIDE STORIES OF A WHAT IF SIDE ON WHAT IF THIS HAPPENED SO DON'T GET MAD THAT PONIES THAT DIED IN A BAD ENDING APPEARS IN THE MAIN STORY LINE.

For some reason i didn't know when to set this in 1954 well in late summer of '54 to early days of '55 and they have technology like planes, firearms, and rotary dial phones

OC 1- Jackpot Blaze Star a charcoal gray with brown hair and brown tail hailing from Canterlot.

OC 2- Purple Artist a Canterlot raised alicorn (who's mom was a pegasus and father a unicorn) who's happily married and loves his job at being a police officer.

OC 3- Blue Sapphire a unicorn mare born and raised in Canterlot and is the loving and caring wife of Purple Artist and the myrter mother of there foals (meaning she'll place herself last to protect, nourish, and cherish Purple Artist, there son and daughter).

OC 4- Lieutenant Crusading Skyray/ Skywing the Lieutenant of the Ponyville Police who at first has a dislike of Jackpot thinking he's going to take over her and her fellow officer's job.

Dreadnought was an adventurer and having lost his prior party to due his leader's lack of ability to listen to others must now solo any dungeon he stumbles upon. He is soon joined by a myriad of adventurers - will he make the same mistakes or will he succeed.

Berry Punch as hit rock bottom, her addition is getting worse and worse. She sleeps on the streets until an old friend offers a hand, but will the help be what she wants or what she needs.
