StormWing as a foal lived in Cloudsdale and attended the young foals flight academy. After flight school he moved to Ponyville connecting with old friends and falling in love of course hes gonna have to get through tough times with a griffon before he can finally settle down.

The Kingdom of Equestria is in a grand time of peace. Both the recent vanquishing of Lord Tirek and the acquisition of her very own kingdom has left Twilight Sparkle and her friends once again saving the world, while simultaneously strengthening their unbreakable bond of friendship.

But, not everypony is ecstatic about her achievement. Alistair, cross-realm traveler and former friend of the lavender mare, has seeped further and further down a path of loneliness and despair, unable to handle what has become of the pony he'd known since first arriving in Equestria so many years before.

Bitter and directionless, the boy has moved from his native Ponyville to the heart of the kingdom’s capital, Canterlot, and has taken the esteemed position of a foreign diplomat for Equestria’s External Affairs. Yet, even with a legitimate career set before him, a lack of purpose still rings true in his mind.

But when a rumored treasure is believed to be buried deep within Griffon territory, an eager Alistair graciously accepts the assignment, finally seeing a chance to steer meaning back into his life. An ancient beast from the precambrian age is now hunting the citizens of, not only Equestria, but the whole world. Now ponies, changelings, Griffins, diamond dogs, and many other species must stand together to stop these underground beasts known as ... Graboids. Can they kill the colossal beasts before they metamorphosize or are all of the earth prey to these deadly worms.

A new band comes to CHS. Only they're a metal band. The members of the band? Gilda, an offensive jock, Garble, an aggressive teenager, Starlight, a self absorbed equalist, Lightning Dust, an intense jock, and some albino guy who sleeps a lot. Pinkie is out for their friendship and is determined to get it. Will she fail, or will she pass? Also, the band's name is none other than Paybak.
