After a big fight between the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Sweetie Belle wonders if she ever had any real friends. When she sees how close her sister and her friends are as they prepare for their vacation, she becomes envious. Wanting to make some new, real friends, she secretly joins them on their vacation.

Hearth's Warming Eve is suppose to be a time of joy and happiness in Equestria- but not for one young filly.

Today isn't just an ordinary day. At least, not for Scootaloo. She has everything planned out perfectly. She'll play with her friends, they'll laugh, they'll have adventures, and it will be the best day ever!

To Scootaloo crusading for her cutie mark had always been more of an excuse to get her friends to join her in her idea of fun. But now that they have earned their cutie marks and moved on with their lives, Scootaloo is determined that today she will earn her own, and catch up to her friends.

Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie have always been considered free spirits. Rainbow herself could never have thought she'd ever reanalyze her entire life for the sake of one person.
