Five years ago, a great wound in time and space allowed passage between two worlds.
Chaos has been temporarily averted by the creation of one organization, that controls and limits access to The Rift. Reviled and hated, but ultimately necessary, the work of this faction is no better represented by their best investigator, who above all is the most reviled and hated, but ultimately necessary, and in turn, reviles and hates the ones who have come through the portals.
But tensions rise, forces move in the darkness, and what has been working for five years will be put to the test, because the job is never simple, nor are the motivations, and especially not the hatred.
With six legs and two arms, a mind of hunger and a voice of fear, the way is opened to the land of the titans and the steel cities, who will covet the death of night. In its aftermath will come the great devourer, Taraxippus, passing through the opened way.
