There's a crisis in Ponyville. Some mysterious magic is turning everything into fashion nightmares. But never mind that.
Rainbow Dash is stuck in a dress, and she desperately needs a place to crash and wait out the spell. Where else than on Applejack's couch?
When Applejack is left alone to run the farm, she gets some unexpected help from Spike. As the two spend time together, Spike starts to see Applejack in a new way he'd never thought was possible. What are these feelings, and what will become of the two friends?
This was credited on DeviantART as the first AppleSpike (Applejack X Spike) fic. I don't know how many other AppleSpike fics are here, so maybe somepony can help me out.
I don't own these characters; they are the property of Hasbro and Lauren Faust. Story by me.

Since the Timberwolf incident, Applejack hasn't been feeling well. She can't eat, she can't sleep and she's not sure why.
Little does she realize that she's suffering from the deadliest disease of all: love.
But who is she pining for?

There are several reasons Rarity stays inside on Nightmare Night. Because she's Generosity, and it makes more sense to be giving away treats than to go out collecting them. Because really, costumes are their very own fashion trends, darling, and there's only so much a reasonable pony can be expected to deal with per season. But mostly because when it comes to the truest holiday nightmare of Ponyville, the thing which sends colts, fillies, and adults galloping their screaming way into the night?
She's it.

Rarity and Twilight were hardly the only ponies who noticed Applejack's increasingly inefficient methods. They were just the first ones who got her to listen. Getting them into the position to do so took more than a little finesse on the parts of some unsung heroes.

Rarity discovers that another friend of hers has never been to a mall before. But this friend is a little less enthusiastic about the trip. And since she's never seen such a big mall, or many of the modern things inside it, such a trip can be a little daunting for a simple earth pony.
A sequel to At the Mall. You can read that first, but it isn't required.
Also, read the sequel! That is, um... if you really want to.
Return to the Mall

Seasons one and two are now complete! Season three is being continued in The AppleDash Project: Wherever Life Takes Us.
The AppleDash project is a series of short fics attached to various episodes, detailing a relationship between Rainbow Dash and Applejack behind the scenes. The stories take place sometime during or shortly after the indicated episode.
This is not meant to start shipping wars, argue that AppleDash is canon, or offend other shippers. In fact, if you like the idea I encourage you to try it with other ships!

Flim has a golden ticket. Princess Twilight and her new wife Applejack desperately require his signature on some very important paperwork. Obviously this is the sort of thing that should be worth quite a lot of bits up front, with the potential for favors at some point in the future. Flim and Flam hold all the cards, and there's no way this could go wrong.
Oh yeah, and there's a foal involved too. Not that that really matters.
